October Awareness.

Ah, October. The weather is starting to cool and the leaves are starting to turn. Across the nation, landscapes are beginning to look like watercolor paintings, and thousands across the nation are getting into the holiday spirits. Thanksgiving and Christmas is right around the corner. However, aside from Halloween and premature Christmas decorations, October holds a very special meaning. Of course, we all know about the campaign to turn October pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. It’s splashed across store fronts and embedded in the NFL’s October uniforms. But did you know October also brings awareness and support to survivors of domestic violence, Lupus sufferers, and bullying victims? These awareness events can help you transform your MSP Marketing into something more.

Be an Industry Leader in a Unique Way.

In nearly every city, events are scheduled to raise funds and awareness to these very important issues. There are the Susan G. Donating to these causes is appreciated, but also carries another perk – free MSP marketing. Here’s what I mean: say you sign up for Race for the Cure. How to Turn a Giving Back Event into MSP Marketing Leads.

Here are some creative ways to bring awareness to your company while participating in fundraising events:

  • Create Custom Gear
Try getting t-shirts made with your company name on the back, as well as a list of who is going to be participating in the walk with you. This puts your company name out in front of thousands of people who will be walking right along side with you.
  • Hold a Contest
If possible, have your sales department, engineers, and employees further strengthen the client relationships by seeing who can get the most sign ups to participate in the walk. You can either give an incentive to your employees, or provide an incentive to your client. Having clients participate in the walk may generate some word-of-mouth marketing about how wonderful your services are!
  • Become a Sponsor
The best way to get your company name out there is to help sponsor an awareness event. You’ll have your company name and logo added to banners and merchandise that may be sold at these events. You may even be allowed to set up a booth to hand out your flyers and brochures to participants after the event.
